CASE STUDY - Ascot House

Ascot House is a Torquay based hotel offering boutique suites for visitors to the English Riviera, with rooms available to suit every guest and occasion. Located on the South Devon coast, the hotel provides French chic combined with American hospitality. 

 

The old Ascot House Hotel website was slow to load, difficult to update, and not responsive, meaning that not only was it not particularly user-friendly, but that they were also losing out on customers trying to view the site from a mobile phone or tablet. 

 

As well as this, they had to chase their original web developer for meetings, were paying over the odds, and also not receiving any reports, which meant that they had little idea where their money was actually going. 

 

A poor reflection of the hotel they’d worked so hard to establish, it was time for Ascot House to part ways with their outdated, unresponsive website. 

 

The owners were looking for something that was easy to update, with a simple user interface and up-to-date technology. Although they admit that the decision to change web design companies was “rather daunting”, they can now “say without hesitation that it’s proven to be one of the best business decisions we’ve made”. Offering great value for money with the optimum look and feel across all devices, it’seeze was the obvious choice, with both liking the aspect of “excellent support from a local website consultant”.
